It’s So Called Coronna
Born and made in China
Sucking everyone’s soul
All over the world!
Kisses and hugs
Became prohibited
No more handshakes
No more touches!

Cough, fever, sneeze
Dry cough and tiredness
Are the symptoms -they
Serious and even fatal.
Patients of asthma, diabetes
Or heart disease the most vulnerable
Nor bias nor partial Corona has
Thousands of people are the victims!

Many fought and recovered
Many kissed their shadows!
Many dear doctors departed
Many good hearts forgot to breathe
Many children failed to play
Many made it a lesson!
Endless attempts going on
Finally, we leave it as God’s wish!!

Sucking the souls, with no difference
Without cast, creed, religion, age, sex
Politics, politeness, poisonous
Economy Education and Experience!
Health ministry together with
Government gives advice
To wash wash wash their hands
Within every twenty minutes!

People didn’t fear
Also they couldn’t cheer
But advised and asked
To be self quarantined!
Some obeyed some betrayed
Some did but some hid
Some knowledgeable
Voluntarily did to save Mother Lanka!

To put a fullstop to Corona
Curfew was imposed for weeks
Food and goods were distributed
People had Mercy within them
Some did social service
Some captured it as a news
Also some carried political arenna
And developed racism with Corona!

Let’s rise up as one Sri Lanka!
