சினிமா பற்றி பேசினாலே வாயிற்கு மண்ணென்னை போட்டு கழுவச்செல்பவர்களுக்கு மத்தியில் ஒரு சினிமா நடிகையைக்கு வாழ்த்துக்கூறுவது என்பது பயம் தான்.ஆனாலும் தமிழ் சினிமாவில் கதையே இன்றி படம் தயாரித்து பணம் பார்ப்பவர்களுக்கு மத்தியிலும் தமது சினிமா வியாபாரத்தில் இலாபம் பார்ப்பதற்காக ‘அது தவறு ; இது தவறு’ என கருத்து கூறும் முன்னணி நடிகர்களுக்கு மத்தியில் சமூக நலனிற்கான மனப்பாங்குகளை வெளிப்படுத்தும் பிரபலங்கள் என்றும் வாழ்த்தப்பட வேண்டும்.

தமது கணவனுடன் இணைந்து நற்பணிகளை மேற்கொள்ளும் ஜோ எனும் ஜோதிகாவின் பழைய சினிமா ஈடுபாடுகளை பெரிதும் கொண்டாடும்படி எதுவும் இல்லை. ஆனால் கடந்த ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளாக சமூக விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தும் பல சினிமா செய்திகளை கூறும் திரைக்கதைகளில் பாத்திரம் ஏற்று நடித்து வருகிறார் இவர். அவற்றில் ’36 வயதினிலே’ , ‘காற்றின் மொழி’ , ‘ராட்சசி’ என்பன சில ஹீரோக்களை பறக்கவைத்து ரசிகர்களினை மூடனாக்கும் சினிமா கதைகளுக்கு புதுவிதமான எடுத்துக்காட்டாக அமைந்தது.

அண்மையில் நடந்த நடிகை ஜோதிகா விருது வழங்கும் நிகழ்ச்சி ஒன்றில் பேசிய விஷயம் சில நாட்களாக சமூகவலைத்தளங்களில் பல விமர்சனங்களுக்கு உள்ளானது. அது வழமைதான்.

ஆனாலும் இந்நடிகை கூறியது மதம் சார்ந்த கூற்றாகவோ அல்லது ஆலயங்கள் சார்ந்த கூற்றாகவோ மாத்திரம் பார்வை கொள்வதுதான் இங்குள்ள குளறுபடி.

இது மனிதன் சார்ந்த பதிவு! மனிதன் காக்கும் நோக்கத்திற்காய் பின்பற்றும் மதங்கள் மனிதத்தினையும், மனிதனையும் மேன்படுத்தாமல் விசாலமாக ஆலயங்கள் கட்டுவதுடனும், வைபவங்ககள் கொண்டாடுவதுடனும் முற்றுப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதையே நடிகை கவலை தெரிவித்ததாக நான் கருதிகிறேன்.

இது கோவிலா? மசூதியா? ஷேர்ச்சா? என்ற போட்டியல்ல. மதங்களா? மனிதனா? என்ற உள்ளக மனவேதனை .

இந்து ஆலயங்களாக இருந்தாலும், முஸ்லிம் மசூதிகளாக இருந்தாலும், கிறிஸ்தவ தேவாலயங்களாக இருப்பினும் உலக மனிதர்கள் பட்டினி இருக்க, தான் வர்ணம் கொண்டு ஜொலிப்பது மதங்கள் உலகில் செய்ய வேண்டிய முக்கிய பணியினை செய்யாமைக்கான கேவலத்தையே எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது.
