புண்ணியங்கள் பூத்துக் குலுங்கும்
கண்ணியம்மிக்க ரமழானே
கண்ணிமைக்கும் வேகத்தில் நீ மறைய
நானோ கண்ணீர்ப்பூக்கள் பறிக்கிறேன்
ஊன், உறக்கம் தியாகம் செய்து
ஊக்கமுடன் நல்லமல்கள் செய்ய
ஊன்று கோலாய் இருந்த நீ
ஊதிய தூசென பறப்பது ஏனோ
பட்டினி என்பதை
பகட்டாய் அறிய வைத்தாய்
பத்துக்கள் மூன்று அதை
முத்துக்களென உணர வைத்தாய்
நல்லமல்களை நாசமாக்கும்
தொல்லை தரும் ஷைத்தானை
உன் பொன் வரவால்
தற்காலிகமாய் சிறை கைதியாக்கினாய்
சுவன சோலைகள் அதை
அலங்கரித்து புதுப்பித்தாய்
நரக வாயில்கள் அதன்
நாமம் மறக்கச் செய்துவிட்டாய்
பாவங்கள் செய்தோர்
கண்ணீருடன் மன்றிட அவர்கள்
பாவக்கறைகளைப் போக்கிடவே
அவதரித்த ரமழானே
அருள் மறையாம் திருமறை
அல் குர் ஆனை
அகிலத்தாருக்கு வழங்கி
அருள் பெறச் செய்த ரமழானே
நிரந்தரமில்லா இவ்வுலகில்
நிச்சயமற்ற அடுத்த சந்திப்பை எண்ணி
நினைவலைகளை சுமந்தவளாய்
நிர்க்கதியாகிப் போகின்றேன்
கண்ணீருடன் விடை தருகிறேன்
நீ என்னை பிரிந்து போகையில்
இறைவனிடம் இறைஞ்சுகிறேன்
இனிமேலும் உன்னை
