இந்த ஏழையின் ஓலைக் குடிலில்
மெல்லத் தலை காட்டிய ரமழானே
இன்று நீ
என்னை விட்டு பிரியப் போகிறாய்
மீண்டும் உனை அடைய
நானிருப்பேனோ?
என் உள்ளத்தை சீர்படுத்திய ரமழானே
இவ் உம்மத்தையே சீர்செய்ய மீண்டும்
ஒரு முறை வந்திடுவாய்
என் பாவக்கறைகளை நீக்கி
என்னை பண்படுத்திச் செல்கிறாய்
பத்திரமாக நீ சென்று வா
மீண்டும் ஒரு ரமழான்
இன்பம் கொண்டு வா
ஏழையின் பசிதனை உணர்த்த
ஏழ்மையுடன் வந்த ரமழானே
ஏங்குகிறேன் உன் பிரிவை எண்ணி
தக்பீர்கள் முலங்குகின்றன
இங்கே என் கண்களோ
உன் பிரிவை
எண்ணி கலங்குகின்றன!
பொறுமை தனை பயிற்றுவித்தாய்
நாட்டின் சட்டத்திற்காய்
தனிமையில் ரமழான் இன்பம்
அனுபவிக்க வாய்ப்புத் தந்தாய்
பிரிந்த உறவுகளை இணைத்து விட்டாய்
நீ பிரிகையிலே
பெருநாள் இன்பம் கொடுத்து விட்டாய்
உறவின் உன்னதம் உணர்த்தினாய்
நீ உத்தம உண்மை திருத்தூதரின்
நித்தியம் தனை நினைவுகூறினாய்
வணக்கங்கள் பல புரியவைத்தாய்
நீ இன்று என்னை வணக்கத்தில்
பூரணத்துவம் அடைய செய்தாய்
இன்று உன் கடமைகளை
சரிவர நிறைவு செய்து
இந்த ஏழையை விட்டு
பிரிந்து செல்கிறாய்!
விடை கொடுக்கும் ரமழானே

ஏற்பாயா நீ அதனை?
மீண்டும் ஒரு தடவை இந்த
ஏழை வீட்டில் தரிசனம் தருவாய்
