நிலா உலாப் போகும் காற்று வெளியினிலே….
ஊற்றாய்ப் பெருக்கெடுத்த
கன்னியரின் அழகிய கனாக்கள்
வரட்சியாய் உருவெடுத்த சீதனத்தினால்
வற்றிப் போன தருணங்கள்…..
முதிர் கன்னிகள் முற்றந்தோருமிருக்க
முயல் பிடியாய்
சீதனப் பிச்சை வாங்கும்
செல்வந்த ஏழைகள்……
இருமணங்கள் இணையும் திருமணம்
மனிதம் மறந்த மாந்தர்களால்
தன் புனிதத்துவம் இழந்து
பேரம் பேசும் வியாபாரமாய் இன்று…..
பத்து லட்சம் ரொக்கமாய் தந்தால்
பண்பு மகன் உமக்கே சொந்தம்
பாகாய் உருகிடும் தரகரின் வார்த்தைகள்
ஈயமாய் பெண்ணின் உள்ளத்திலே…..
மங்கையின் மனம் நிறைந்த
கல்யாணக் கனவுகளை
மண்மிசை அழகுறச் செய்திட
அப்பாவித் தந்தையின் உழைப்பு
ஈடுகொடுக்காது போயிடவே
பெண்ணவள் தன் ஆசைகளை ஓரங்கட்டி
வெளிநாடு செல்லத் துணிகிறாள்
மனதில் வலியுடனே…..
