‘வண்ணத்துப்பூச்சி விளைவு’
(Butterfly Effect)

கமல் நடிப்பில் வெளியாகிய பிரமாண்டமான படைப்புக்களில் ஒன்று தசாவதாரம். பத்து மாறுபட்ட வேடங்களில் கமல்ஹாசன் நடித்துள்ள இத்திரைப்படம் தமிழ் சினிமாவில் ஒரு படைப்பு என்பதை கடந்த ஒரு வரலாறு எனலாம். அற்புதங்களும், புத்தாக்கங்களும் காட்சிக்கு காட்சி குமிந்த இத்திரைப்படம் முன்வைக்கின்ற ஒரு கோட்பாட்டு மையக்கருத்து கவனிக்கத்தக்கது.

‘தசாவதாரம்’ படத்தை அவதானமாகப் பார்த்திருந்தீர்களானால், படத்தின் எழுத்து ஆரம்பிக்கும்போது, ஒரு வண்ணத்துப்பூச்சி சிறகடித்துச் சென்று கொண்டே இருக்கும். அது படத்தின் இறுதியில் மீண்டும் வரும். அவ்வண்ணத்து பூச்சு கதையில் மெயின் கெரக்டர்களில் ஒருவர் என்று சொன்னால் ஏற்பீர்களா? ஆம் . கதையில் அவ்வண்ணத்து பூச்சி கதையின் மைய கோட்பாட்டை முன்வைக்கும் ஊடகமாக செயல்பட்டுள்ளது.

எட்வார்ட் லோரன்ஸ்’ (Edward Lorenz) 1963 என்ற அறிஞர் “பிரேசில் நாட்டில் பறந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் ஒரு வண்ணத்துப் பூச்சியின் சிறகின் படபடப்பினால் ஏற்படும் சலசலப்பிற்கும், டெக்ஸாசில் ஏற்படும் சூறாவளிக்கும் தொடர்பு உண்டு” என்றார். இதை அவர் கணித முறைப்படியும் வானிலை மாற்றங்களின்படியும் சரியென்று நிறுவிக் காட்டினார். இதனாலேயே இந்தத் தத்துவம், ‘வண்ணத்துப்பூச்சி விளைவு’ (Butterfly effect) எனும் கோட்பாடு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.

‘வண்ணத்துப்பூச்சி விளைவு’ (Butterfly effect) என்ற இக் கோட்பாட்டை வேறு வடிவமாக ‘கேயாஸ் தியரி’ (Chaos theory) என்றும் சொல்வார்கள். அந்தக் கோட்பாடுகள் என்ன சொல்கிறது என்றால் :

“ஆரம்பத்தில் உருவாக்கப்படும் மிகச் சிறிய ஒரு செயல், அதன் தொடர்ச்சியான சம்பவங்களால், நாம் எதிர்பார்க்கவே முடியாத மாபெரும் விளைவைத் தோற்றுவிக்கலாம்” என்கிறது. இக்கருத்தியலை மையமாகக்கொன்டே தசாவதாரம் திரைப்படம் தயாரிக்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது அவதானிக்க முடிகின்றது.

ஐக்கிய அமெரிக்க நிறுவனம் ஒன்றில் உயிரித் தொழில்நுட்ப அறிவியலாளர் கண்டுபிடித்த உயிரிப் பேரழிவுக் கிருமி தீய சக்திகளுக்குக் கைமாறும் தருவாயில் அதை அவர்களிடம் இருந்து காப்பாற்ற அதை அறிவியலாளர் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு ஓடுகிறார். அறிவியலாளரைப் பிடித்து அந்த உயிரியல் அழிவியை எடுக்க சிஐஏ அமைப்பின் முன்னாள் ஊழியர் ஒருவர் தீவரவாதிகளால் அனுப்பப்படுகிறார். அதற்கிடையில் அறிவியலாளர் எவ்வாறு அந்த அழிவியை நழுவவிடுகிறார், பின் தொடர்கிறார், யார் யாரை சந்திக்கிறார், இறுதியில் 2004 சுனாமிக்கும் அந்த அழிவிக்கும் என்ன தொடர்பு எனபதுவே கதையின் சாரம்.

இக்கதையில் ஐக்கிய அமெரிக்க நிறுவனம் ஒன்றில் நடந்த ஒரு செயல் தாக்கம் செலுத்தும் ஒவ்வோர் புறத்தையும் ஒவ்வோர் கமலின் தோற்றமும் சுட்டிக்காட்டும் விதத்தில் கதை அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கதையில் தோன்றும் ஒவ்வோர் கமலின் நிகழ்வுகளிலும் வாழ்விலும் ஏற்படுத்தும் தாக்கத்தை கதையில் அவதானிக்க முடியுமாக உள்ளது. இறுதியில் பல நூற்றாண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் வாழ்ந்த ‘இரண்டாம் குலோத்துங்க சோழன்’ என்பவன் சைவ, வைணவ சண்டையினால், விஷ்ணுவின் சிலையுடன் கடலில் வீசப்பட்ட அய்யர் கமல் வரை தொடர்புபடுவதை பினைப்பிட்டு காட்டுகிறது இக்கதை.

இக்கதைவழியாக ஒவ்வோர் செயலுக்கும் விளைவுன்டு. விளைவுகள் தொடர்பான முன் ஊகத்துடன் நடத்தைகளை அமைப்பது அவசியம் என்ற கருத்து படிப்பினை புகட்டுகிறது.
