யாவருமே மதி மயங்கிய
மாயா ஜாலங்களே
எதிர்பார்த்து வாழ்வும் நம் வாழ்வில்
எதிர்ப்பார்ப்பு எனும் ஏக்கங்கள்
தீராத இவ் ஏக்கத்தை
வாய்ப்பெனும் கனவுத்தருவில்
கட்டி ஆட நினைத்தாலும்
எதிர்பாரா பல கிளைகள்
முறிந்து வீழ்வதே
விதியின் விளையாட்டு
வீழ்ந்துடைந்த கிளைகளுகளுக்கு
காரணம் தேடுவதிலும்
கட்டு மரமான கிளைகளுக்கு
தாவிச் செல்வதே மதியின் மனம்
மதி கெட்டார் மயக்கம் கொள்வார்கள்
மதி கொண்டோர் கடந்து செல்வார்கள்
மதி எனும் தருவிலே
பல கிளைகளாய் நாம்!
