வந்தவள் பர்ஹாவைப் பார்த்து புன்முறுவலுடன்,
”ஏ…. நான் வரப்படாதா ஓன்ட ஊட்டுகு? ”
”அல்லாவே…. அப்டி ஒன்றுமில்ல… ஷிப்ன தாத்தா… ஒகட இத்தா முடிஞ்சா?”
”ஓ… அது நேத்து….”
அவள் ஏதோ சொல்ல வாயை திறந்தவுடனே,
”தாத்தா… வா”
பரீனா இழுத்துக் கொண்டு சென்று விட்டாள்.
அவளுக்குள் வந்தவர்களைக் கண்டவுடன் சற்று தயக்கமாக இருந்தது. சமாளித்துக் கொண்டு புன்னகையை வரவழைத்துக் கொண்டு
”அஸ் ஸலாமு அலைக்கும் ” என்ற முகமனுடன் அமர்ந்தாள். அவளை எல்லோருக்கும் பிடித்திருந்தது.
”சித்தியும்மா… அப்ப கலியாணத்த எப்ப வெச்சியன்டு ஊட்ல பெய்த்து ‘கோல்’ ஒன்டு தாரன்” மூத்த பெண் ஒருவர் கூறி விடைபெற்றனர்.
பர்ஹாவின் வாப்பாவுக்கு முகமெல்லாம் சந்தோசக்கலை தெரிந்தது.
”சித்தி…. இந்த எடம் சரியாகும் போல… அல்லாட நாட்டம்…”
பெருமூச்சுடன் சித்தியும்மா ”சரியானா அல்ஹம்துலில்லாஹ்..” என்றாள்.
ஷிப்னா மெதுவாக பர்ஹாவின் அருகே அமர்ந்தாள். அவளுக்கு ஷிப்னாவைப் பார்க்க பாவமாக இருந்தது.
”ஷிப்னதாத்தா…. ஒகளுக்கு…..”
அவளது முகத்தில் அமைதியே நிலவியது.
”பர்ஹா….. எல்லாரும் ஒரே மாயல்ல…”
”ஹ்ம்ம்…. ”
”பர்ஹா…. நா ஒரு விஷயம் ஒனகிட்ட செல்லோணும்….!”
பர்ஹா அவளது முகத்தை உன்னிப்பாக கவனித்தாள். அதில் பல ரசனைகள் மாறின.
