இந்த நாட்களில் ஆசிரியர் சிறுவர் தினங்கள் கொண்டாடப்படுவதால் தனிப்பட்ட விடுமுறையில் இது தொடர்பாக பாடசாலை ஆசிரியர் குழாமை தெளிவுபடுத்தும் பொறுப்பு எமது கரங்களை வந்து சேர்ந்தது. குருநாகல் மாவட்ட சில தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்ட பாடசாலைகளுக்கே நாம் சென்றோம்.
அது குருநாகல் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு பாடசாலை. நாம் பாடசாலைக்கு செல்லும் போது வாயிற்காவலர் ஒருவர் கூட இல்லை. பாடசாலையின் நிலைமையை புரிந்து கொள்வதற்காக தான் இந்த பதிவு. அந்த பாடசாலை அதிபரால் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ள மிகப்பெரிய பொறுப்பு மாணவர்களை பாடசாலைக்கு வரவழைப்பதாகும். உணவு தட்டுப்பாடு காரணமாக மாணவர்கள் பாடசாலைக்கு வருவதில்லை.
அந்த பாடசாலை ஆசிரியை ஒருவர் சமூக வலைத்தளம் மூலம் வெளிநாடுகளில் உள்ள ஒரு குழுவை நாடி பாடசாலையில் காலைப்போஷணை திட்டத்தை நடத்தி வந்தார். அந்த குழு ஒரு நாளைக்கு 75/= தான் காலைப் போஷனைக்காக ஒதுக்கும். அது பற்றி ஆசிரியை ஒருவரோடு பேசிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போது வாயிற்காவல் அருகில் ஒரு தாய் சிறிய பிள்ளை ஒன்றை அழைத்து வந்து நின்று கொண்டிருந்தாள். அந்த ஆசிரியை அவர்களிடம் சென்றார். நானும் நடப்பதை அவதானித்து கொண்டிருந்தேன்.
தாய் ஆசிரியையை நோக்கி மகளுக்கு பாடசாலையால் தரும் உணவுப் பொதியை சாப்பிட வேண்டுமாம். அதன் ருசி போல் வருவதில்லையாம் என்றாள். நிலைமையை புரிந்து கொண்ட ஆசிரியை பிள்ளையை உணவு வழங்க அழைத்து சென்றார். வரும் போது ஒரு பார்சலை தாயிடமும் கொடுத்தார். அவர்கள் சென்றனர். ஏன் தாயிற்கு பார்சல் கொடுத்தீர்கள் என கேட்க அந்த குடும்பம் நேற்று இரவு தேநீர் பருகி விட்டு தான் உறங்கி இருக்கிறது. தனக்கு பசி இல்லாவிடினும் பிள்ளையாவது பசியாற உண்ணட்டும் என்று தான் அந்த தாய் அழைத்து வந்து இருக்கிறார்.
அந்த சிறுமி தாயும் பசியில் தான் இருக்கிறார் எனவே தனது உணவை வீட்டுக்கு எடுத்து போய் உண்ணவா என எண்ணிடம் கேட்டாள். அது சிறிய பார்சல். தாய்க்கு நான் பார்சல் தருகிறேன் நீங்கள் சாப்பிடுங்கள் என்ற பிறகு தான் அந்த சிறுமி சாப்பிட்டாள். நான் அந்த தாய்க்கு கொடுத்தது எனது மதிய நேர உணவுக்காக கொண்டு வந்த பார்சல் என்றார் அந்த ஆசிரியை புன்னகைத்த முகத்தோடு.
அதே போல் இன்னொரு பாடசாலைக்கு சென்றோம். எனக்கு மிக நெருங்கிய ஆசிரியை ஒருவர் உள்ள பாடசாலை அது. சென்ற போது அந்த ஆசிரியை ஒரு சிறுவனை வைத்து கொண்டு அவனை மகிழ்வூட்ட முயற்சி செய்து கொண்டு இருந்தார். ஒரு மணித்தியாலம் கடந்து நாம் திரும்ப வரும் போதும் அவர் அந்த சிறுவனோடு தான் இருந்தார். திடீரென அவனை கட்டித்தழுவி கண்ணீரை துடைத்துக் கொண்டாள். என்னைக் கண்டதும் அதை மறைத்து புன்னகைத்து கொண்டாள்.
மாலை நேரம் அந்த ஆசிரியையை தொலை பேசி மூலம் தொடர்பு கொண்டு அதற்கான காரணத்தை கேட்டேன். அந்த மாணவன் கடந்த சில நாட்களாக வகுப்பறையில் அழுத வண்ணமாகவே இருப்பதால் காரணத்தை கண்டறிந்து குறித்த பிரச்சினைக்கு தீர்வு காணும் பொறுப்பு அந்த ஆசிரியரிடமே ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தது. நாம் அங்கு சென்ற தினம் தான் அவன் காரணத்தை கூறியிருக்கிறான்.
அந்த சிறுவனது தாய் நகர சந்தியில் இருந்து தமது கிராமம் வரை தினமும் நபர்களை அழைத்து சவாரி செய்து தான் வருமானம் தேடுகிறார். அவர் சவாரி செய்யும் வாகனம் அவரது ஸ்கூட்டி. தாயிற்கு ஏதாவது நடக்கும்,யாராவது கொன்று விடுவார்கள் என்ற பயத்திலே அவன் அழுதிருக்கிறான்.
தாயிற்கு ஒன்றும் ஆகாது என்ற போது ஏதாவது நடந்தால் என திருப்பி கேட்டான். ஏதாவது நடந்தால் நான் உன்னை பார்த்துக் கொள்கிறேன் என கூறிவிட்டு தான் கட்டியணைத்து அழுதேன் என்றார் அந்த ஆசிரியர்.
இவ்வாறான அரும்பணியாற்றும் ஆசியர்கள் பலரை நான் கண்டிருக்கிறேன். வயிறார உண்டு கொண்டாட்டமாக கொண்டாடிய அத்தனை ஆசியர்களுக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கும் சமர்ப்பணம்.
