எம்மை கடந்து சென்ற அந்நாளில்
ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியாத
அச்செய்தி கேட்டு உடைந்து
தூள் தூளாய் சிதறிப்போனேன்.
இன்றும் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள முடியாமல்
ஏங்குகிறது உள்ளம்
எனக்கான காண்ணணாய்
காப்பாளனாய் தந்தையாய்
வழிகாட்டியாய் சேவகனாய்
அழியா நினைவில் அனைத்தும்
கடிந்து பேசாத உம் நா
என் சமையலில் குறையிருந்தும்
குறை கூறா உம் வாய்
தடியெடுக்காத உம் கைகள்
சகிப்புத்தன்மையுடன் கூடிய
அண்ணல் நபியின் பண்புகள்
பெற்ற அண்ணணாய்
நம் தந்தை வழிகாட்டிய
வாழ்வை அழகாய் வாழ்ந்தீர்
தஹஜ்ஜத் முதல் வித்ர் வரை
கலந்து வாழ்ந்தாலும்
கரைந்து போகாத பக்குவம்
குழந்தைகளுடன் குழந்தையாய்
கொஞ்சி விளையாடும் அழகோ
கண்கள் மறைக்கா அழகு
உன் இங்கிதமோ
