”செல்லுங்கோ…?”
ஷிப்னா அவளைப் பார்த்து புன்னகைக்க, அவளுக்குள் இனம் புரியாத எண்ணங்கள் ஓடி மறைந்தன.
”ஹ்ம்ம்….. இந்த ஆம்புளேகள பத்தி நீ எந்தேன் நெனச்சிய?”
ஷிப்னாவின் திடீர் கேள்வியால் அவள் ஆடிப் போனாள். மௌனமான அவளது பார்வையின் அர்த்தத்தைப் புரிந்து கொண்டவள் போல சிரித்துவிட்டு,
” நீ யோசிச்சிய…. நானே செல்லியன்…. அவனுக சரியான ஒட்டுண்ணீக….”
மீண்டும் அவளைப் பார்த்து,
”ஒட்டுண்ணி அப்டியன்டா ஒனக்கு தெரீம் தானே! நீ தானே சயன்ஸ் படிச்சவ…”
பர்ஹா புன்னகைத்தாள்.
”நீ சிரிச்சிய? ”
நிமிர்ந்து ஷிப்னாவின் முகத்தை நோக்கி,
”இல்ல…. நான் கேள்விபட்டீச்சி தலாக் வாங்கின பொம்புளேக எல்லம் ஆம்புளேகளுக்கு ஏசியன்டு….”
”இப்ப எந்தேன்… நீங்களும் அதே தானே செல்ல போற…. அதுகும் கலியாணம் சரியான டைம்ல அப்டியன்டு நெனச்சியா நீ?”
அவளது நா தடுமாறியது. கண்களிலிருந்து கண்ணீர் எட்டிப் பார்த்து, எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் விழுந்துவிடுவேன் என பயந்து கொண்டிருந்தது. உடனே அவளது கைகளைப் பற்றி,
”ஷிப்ன தாத்தா…. எந்தேன் பேசிய நீங்க? நான் அப்டி ஒன்டுமே நெனச்சல்ல…. அழுதா பாருங்கோ நீங்க கோலம்… சிரீங்கவே….”
அவளது இடுப்பை கிள்ளி சிரிப்பூட்டினாள். அவள் கண்களை துடைத்துக் கொண்டே,
”போடி…. நீ சரியான ஆள் தான்….” என்றதும்,
”அல்லாவே…. ஷிப்ன தாத்தா சிரிச்சிட்ட….
ஒகள பத்தி பசுந்தான கவிதயே எழுதேழும் தெரீமா?”
” ஓ… அப்டியா? எழுதி தாவே….?”
காலடிச் சத்தம் வரும் திசையை நோக்கியவள்,
”ஹே பர்ஹா… நாளேக்கி பேசோம்…. ஓன்ட உமும்மா வார போல….”
பர்ஹா பார்த்தாள். அவளது உமும்மா வந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்.
”பர்ஹா… நீ எந்துகன் அவளோட பேசிகொண்டீச்சி…. போ…போ….”குரல் கடுமையாக இருந்தது.
”இல்ல… சும்மா பேசிகொணீந்த…. நீங்க கொரோட வேணாம்… நான் போறன்….”
அவள் பல யோசனைகளைச் சுமந்து உள்ளே சென்றாள்.
