Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA) yet again organized the Schools U19 Elite Rugby 7s for the year 2024 which kicked off today at Royal Sports Complex ( 20th April ). Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, proudly provided the corporate sponsorship for this tournament in order to empower the young rugby talent in Sri Lanka.
Day 01 was packed with group stage matches and Bowl quarter finals, which provided us today with some spectacular rugby action.
The 19 teams are divided into 8 groups with 5 groups of two teams and 3 groups of three teams.
