Shaheed and Nuwanthika win National Carrom Championship

Shaheed Hilmy and Nuwanthika Sanjeewani managed to clinch the Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles titles respectively at the 54th National Carrom Championship.

Anas Ahamed won the runners up trophy in the Men’s Singles event while Lakshika Rasanjali won the runners up trophy in the Women’s Singles event.

M. Sheriffdeen and S Maduwantha won the Men’s Doubles event while Tasmila Kavindi and Nipuni Dilrukshi clinched the Women’s Doubles event.

Meanwhile Avon Wickremasinghe and Tasmila Kavindi managed to win the Mixed Doubles event at the National Carrom Championship organized by Sri Lanka Carrom Federation.

Winner – Shaheed Hilmy
Runner up – Anas Ahamed
3rd Place – Nishantha Fernando
4th Place – Charith Madushanka

Women’s Singles

Winner -Nuwanthika Sanjeewani
Runner up – Lakshika Rasanjali
3rd Place – Hirushi Malshani
4th place – Tharushi Himahansika

Men’s Doubles 

1st Place – M. Sheriffdeen/ S.Maduwantha
2nd Place – Gihan Chamara/ Vibhavi Hettiarachchi
3rd Place – Udesh Perera/ Dineth Dulakshana

Women’s Doubles

1st Place – Tasmila Kavindi /Nipuni Dilrukshi
2nd Place – Joseph Roshita/Tharushi Himahansika
3rd Place – Chalani Liyanage / Hirushi Malshani
4th Place – Manuraji Nisansala / Nuwanthika Sanjeewani

Mixed Doubles

1st Place – Avon Wickremasinghe / Tasmila Kavindi
