National selectors have announced a 13-member Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad for the first two unofficial ODIs against Afghanistan ‘A’.

The 27-year old off-spinning all-rounder Sahan Arachchige will lead the Sri Lankan contingent. Arachchige along with Lahiru Udara, Minod Bhanuka, Nishan Madushka, Nuwanidu Fernando, Pavan Ratnayake and Ahan Wickramasinghe will make up the batting lineup.

The wrist-spinner Dushan Hemantha and left-arm spinners Wanuja Sahan, Nimesh Vimukthi will represent Sri Lankan spin department. Chamika Karunaratne, Chamika Gunasekara and Mohamed Shiraz round out the seam-bowling unit.

The five-match unofficial ODI series between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and Afghanistan ‘A’ will be played from 28th April to 7th May at Hambantota International Cricket Stadium.
