ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 298.90/299.00 to the US dollar in the spot forex market on Monday, stronger from 299.25/30 on Friday, dealers said, while bond yields were down.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed at 11.35/45 percent down from 11.40/45 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 closed at 11.85/12.00 percent down from 11.90/12.00 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2028 closed at 12.10/20 percent down from 12.15/25 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 closed at 12.20/40 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.05.2030 closed at 12.25/50 percent down from 12.30/50 percent.
