பதில் ஸலாத்தோடு பாத்திமா பேசினாள்..

“என்ன ருஷா சுகமா? சாப்டிங்களா?”

“ம்ம்… அல்ஹம்துலில்லாஹ். இப்போ தான் சாப்பிட்டன்.”

“என்ன மதினி என்று வாய்ல வராதா ருஷா”

“ம்ஹூம்.. அப்படி இல்ல…”

“ஒரு வெட்கமும் தேவல.. மதினி என்று பேசுங்க.”

“ம்ம் சரி மதினி..”

“பிறகு கல்யாணம் பற்றி ஏதும் பேச இருக்கா ருஷா…”

“இல்ல மதினி அல்ஹம்துலில்லாஹ் எல்லாம்..”

“ஆஹ் ருஷா, கொஞ்சம் நிசாத் கிட்ட பேசுங்க மா..”

மதினியின் பேச்சையும் மதித்தாள். ஆனால் நிசாத்துடன் பேச பயம் கொண்டு,

“ம்ம் சரி மதினி என்று சொல்ல..”

“நிசாத்… நிசாத்…”

என்று சொல்லி கொண்டு நிசாத்திடம் கொடுத்து விட்டு பாத்திமா அந்த இடத்தை விட்டு விலகி சென்றாள்.

“ஹெலோ…”

என்று நிசாத் சொல்ல அவள் மனது ஏதோ சொல்ல முடியாத பயம் கொண்டது. அமைதியின் புயலாய்,

“ம் ம்….”

என்று மெதுவாக சொல்ல…

“என்ன ருஷா பேசுங்க. என்ன வெட் பண்ண ஓகே தானே”

என்று பட் என கேட்டான். பதில் சொல்ல தாய் முகம் பார்த்தவளிடம் போனில் நேராக நிசாத் கேட்க பதில் இன்றி தாமதம் செய்தாள்.

“என்ன மேடம் பேச்சு காண இல்ல… மௌன விரதமா?”

என்று வள வள என்று பேசிக்கொண்டு போனான். இயற்கையில் சிவந்தவள் ருஷா அவன் கேள்விகளுக்கு வெக்கத்தில் சிவந்து கொண்டு தான் போனாள்.

“ஆஹ் சரி இப்டியோ பேசாம இருந்தா எப்டிமா… ச்சே.. ஒரு ஊமை பிள்ளையையா நான் வெட் பண்ண போறன்”

என்று சொல்ல, கோபத்தின் அழகி வாய் திறந்தாள்.

“ஹலோ என்ன ஆஹ்… நான் ஒன்னும் ஊமை இல்ல நான் பேசினா தாங்க மாடிங்க அதான் பேசல என்று சொல்ல…”

“பாஹ்ஹ்… என்ன பேச்சுடா.. பளார் பளார் என்று அற மாதிரி விழுது…”

நிசாத்தின் பேச்சை கேட்தும் ருஷாவிற்கு சிரிப்பு வர சிரித்து விட்டாள். அவளின் சிரிப்பை சேமித்து வைத்து கொண்டான் நிசாத். அப்போது ருஷா …என்று அதட்டி பேசிய நிசாத்தின் குரலில் ஒரு இங்கிதத்தை உணர்ந்தாள். மௌனம் காத்தாள்.

“இந்த சிரிப்பை விட நான் இன்னும் சந்தோஷமா உங்களை வெச்சிருக்கணும் ருஷா.”

என்று நிசாத் சொல்ல அவள் மனதின் அனைத்து கேள்விகளுக்கும் இந்த ஒரு பதில் விடையாய் அமைந்தது . அவள் நம்பிக்கை அவனில் இன்னும் அதிகரித்தது.

“ஆஹ் நான் பேச வந்தது ருஷா நீங்க யூணிவேர்சிட்டி சோவ் நீங்க என்ன வேர்க் பண்ண ஐடியா வோ அதை நீங்க மெயின்டைன்ஸ் பண்ணிகலாம். நாம வெட் பண்ணின அப்ரோம் நம்ம ஹோம்ல உங்கட உம்மா தம்பி இருப்பாகிங்க…”

என்று நிசாத் சொல்ல, அவள் துஆவின் சக்தியை அவளால் உணர முடிந்தது. அல்ஹம்துலில்லாஹ் என்று மனதால் சொல்லி மீண்டும் நிசாத்தின் பேச்சுக்கு மதிப்பளித்து மௌனம் காத்தாள்.

“அப்ரோம் இன்னொரு விசயம் ருஷா.”

“ம்ம்… சொல்லுங்க..”

“மஹர் என்ன வேணும்.”

“அதான் அப்போவோ சொல்லிடனே.”

“இல்ல உங்கட எதிர் பார்ப்பு என்ன.”

“நான் சொன்னா தருவிங்களா…”

“என்ன மா இது கேள்வி. மஹர் நீங்க கேட்குறது தான் நான் தரணும்… சோவ் கேளுங்க?”

என்று சொல்லி விட்டு, இதை என்னுடைய ஏஞ்செலுக்கு கொடுத்துத்தான் ஆக வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணி விட்டு அவளின் பதிலுக்கு ஆர்வம் காத்தான்.
