“வரலாறு புரண்ட கதை” என்ற இந்த நூலின் பெயரை பார்க்கும், கேட்கும் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் இந்த நூலின் உள்ளடக்கத்தை அறிய ஆவல் ஏற்படும் என்பதில் எந்த ஒரு சந்தேகமும் கிடையாது.

தழுவல் நூலாக இருக்கும் இந்த நூலிற்கு ஜாமிஆ நளீமியா கலாபீட உதவிப் பணிப்பாளர் அஷ்ஷெய்க் அகார் முஹம்மத் (நளீமி), (பிரதித் தலைவர் – அகில இலங்கை ஜம்மியத்துல் உலமா சபை.) அவர்களால் அணிந்துரை வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது சிறப்பம்சமாகும்.

இந்நூலை பொருத்த வரை முழுமையான சுருக்கம் ஒன்றை தருவதானது இயலாத காரியம். அத்தோடு எனது நோக்கம் இந்நூலில் குறிப்பிடும் சில கருத்துக்களை நம் தற்கால சமூகம் சற்று சிந்திக்க வேண்டும் என்பதால் தலைப்பு வாரியாக சுருக்கத்தையும் படிப்பினைகளையும் குறிப்பிடலாம் என நினைக்கின்றேன்.

அந்த வகையில் சிரமப்பணி என்ற தலைப்பிடப்பட்டு ஆரம்பிக்கப்படும் இந்த நூலின் ஆரம்பம் எம்மை புஹாராவை நோக்கி அழைத்துச் செல்கிறது.. வியாபார கூட்டம் போன்ற போர்வையில் தம் ஊர் எல்லைப் புறத்தை அடைந்த ஷேக் ஜமாலுத்தீன் அவர்கள் தன்னுடைய மாணவர்களுடன் பரிமாறும் ஒட்டுமொத்த முஸ்லிம் சமூகமும் அறிந்திருக்க வேண்டிய இன்று பல முஸ்லிம்கள் அறியாத ஒரு கசப்பான வரலாற்று கதையுடன் ஆரம்பிக்கிறது இந்த சிரமப் பணி.. ஒரு ஆசிரியராக, ஒரு தலைவராக, ஒரு வழிகாட்டியாக ஒரு கூட்டத்தை எவ்வாறு வழிநடத்த வேண்டும். எவ்வாறு ஒரு தலைவர் நடந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்..ஒரு விடயத்தை ஆரம்பிக்க முன்னர் எவ்வாறு தம்மை தயார்படுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பவற்றிற்கு ஷேக் ஜமாலுத்தீன் அவர்கள் சிறந்த முன்னுதாரணமாக இருக்கிறார்.

அத்தோடு ஒரு பெரும்படையை ஏலவே பல முஸ்லிம் நாடுகளை சீரழித்த மொங்கோலிய படையை தாம் எதிர்கொள்ள போவது அறிந்தும் தம்மையும் தமது கூட்டத்தையும் உற்சாகமூட்ட பயண்படுத்தும் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையும் அற்புதமானது.

இவ்வாறு வரலாறு மறக்காத மறுக்க முடியாத தொடர்ந்து ஏழு நாட்கள் யூப்ரடீஸ் நதியே இரங்கல் செய்வது போன்று வ கறுப்பு நிறமாக தன்னை மாற்றிக் கொண்ட ஒரு மாபெரும் அராஜகம் நடந்ததை தம் கூட்டத்தோடு மீட்டிப்பார்த்த ஷேக் ஜமாலுதீன் தம் முன்பிருந்த முஸ்லிம் சமூகம் செய்த தவறுகளை சுட்டிக்காட்ட தவறுமில்லை.

முஸ்லிம் சமூகம் பெயர் தாங்கி முஸ்லிம்களாக இருந்து இறை நினைவில் இருந்து தூரமாகி பணம், உள்ளாசம், உலக இன்பம் என இருந்ததன் விளைவு தான் இவ்வாறான ஒரு பேரழிவுக்கு காரணம் என்பதை தெளிவாக ஷேக் ஜமாலுதீன் குறிப்பிடுகிறார். இந்த நிலை இன்று எம் முஸ்லிம் சமூகத்திலும் இருக்கின்றது என்பதில் எந்த ஒரு சந்தேகமும் இல்லை. பணத்திற்காக உலக ஆசைகளுக்காக முஸ்லிம்கள் இறைவனை மறந்து அவனை விட்டு தூரமாகினால் எதிரிகள் முஸ்லிம்களை சூரையாடுவார்கள் என்ற மாபெரும் படிப்பினையை இந்த நூலின் 11-27 வரையான பக்கங்களை வாசிக்கும் ஒருவர் தெளிவாக புரிந்து கொள்வார்.

இங்கே இந்த நூலை வாசிக்கும் ஒவ்வொருவரும் இந்த மொங்கோலிய தாக்குதல் எந்த அளவு கொடூரமாக இருந்தது என சிந்தித்தால் அதற்கு பிரபல வரலாற்றாசியர் இப்னு அதீர் அவர்களது பின்வரும் கருத்து தகுந்த பதிலாக இருக்கும்.

இந்த கருத்தை செவிமடுக்கும் எவ்வளவு பெரிய கல்நெஞ்சக்காரனாக இருந்தாலும் ஒரு நிமிடம் இலகித்தான் போகும். அந்தளவு கொடூரமான வரலாற்றுச் சம்பவத்தை நம் முஸ்லிம் உம்மத் இதற்கு முன்னர் சந்தித்தே இல்லை என வரலாற்றாசிரியர்கள் குறிப்பிடுகின்றனர்.
