எனக்குள்ளே பல தேடலை உருவாக்கியவன். செல்லப்பிள்ளையாய் வீடு முழுதும் சுற்றியவன். Twitty என பெயரில் அன்பாய் அனைவரையும் வென்றவன். எனக்கு முதல் குழந்தையாய் உறவாடியவன். இப்படியே இவன் புகழ் பாட பிறந்தவன்.
வீட்டில் செல்லப்பிராணியாய் நான் இதுவரை எதுவும் வளர்த்ததில்லை, முதல் தடவையாக இவன் தான் என் இதயத்தை தொட்டவன், காரணம் என் தனிமையை போக்கினான், எனக்குள் இருக்கும் ஆத்மாவை எழுப்பினான், என்னை அவனுக்காக இயங்க வைத்தான், அவன் விருப்பு, வெறுப்பை அறிந்து செயற்பட வைத்தான், எனது கண்காணிப்பில் அவனை இருக்க வைத்தான், அவன் பின்னாலே சுற்ற வைத்தான், இரவும்,பகலும் அவன் பெயரை உச்சரிக்க வைத்தான், அவன் பசிக்கும் நேரம் அறிந்து பசி போக்க வைத்தான், என்னையே அவனுக்காக மாற்ற வைத்தான்.
ஆனால் என்னை விட்டு பிரிந்து செல்வதற்கு விதியும் முடிவு செய்தது, அவன் மரணம் பக்கத்து வீட்டு பூனையால் என்பதும் ஜீரணிக்க முடியாதநிலை, இருப்பினும் அவன் நினைவுகள் அவன் தாவி திரிந்த மரம், மதில் மீட்டிகொண்டே இருக்கிறது, நான் சந்தித்த முதல் இழப்பு என் தாயின் அம்மாவின்(உம்மம்மா) மரணத்திற்கு பின் இவன் இழப்பு மீண்டும் அனுபவித்தேன்.
