நம்மில் அநேகர் நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம்; வாழ்க்கையின் வெற்றி என்பது பணம் சம்பாதிப்பதிலும், வசதியாக வாழ்வதிலும்தான் இருக்கிறது என்று. இது முற்றிலும் தவறான நிலைப்பாடு. மகிழ்ச்சியான, நிம்மதியான, பகைகள் அற்ற, அநாவசியமான கவலைகள் அற்ற, நல்லெண்ணங்களை உருவாக்கக்கூடிய வாழ்க்கையே வெற்றிகரமான வாழ்கையாகும். இவையே நாம் வாழும் வாழ்க்கையை அர்த்தமுள்ளதாக்கும்.
இன்றைய உலகில் எம்மில் அநேகர் பணத்தை சம்பாதிப்பதிலேயே தமது வாழ்க்கையைக் கழித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். தங்கள் தூக்கத்தை இழந்து, ஓய்வை இழந்து, பல இனிய அனுபவங்களை, வாழ்வின் பல மகிழ்ச்சிகரமான தருணங்களை இழந்து பணத்தை குவித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.
பணத்தின் மீது விருப்பம் இருக்கலாம், ஆசை இருக்கலாம். ஆனால் அதுவே வெறியாகி விடக்கூடாது.
மகிழ்ச்சியான வாழ்க்கைக்கு முதலில் அனாவசியமான கவலைகளை உங்கள் மனதிலிருந்து நீக்கிவிடுங்கள். அவை உங்கள் கனவுகளின் வண்ணங்களை இழக்கச் செய்துவிடும்; உங்களுடைய ஊக்கத்தை நலியச் செய்து விடும். ஊக்கத்தை இழந்தால் நீங்கள் வெற்றியில் இருந்து வெகுதூரம் விலகி நிற்கும்படியாகி விடும். இதை புரிந்து கொள்கின்றவரை வாழ்க்கையில் உண்மையான எதிர்பார்ப்பு மற்றும் திருப்தி எது என்பதை நாம் உணர முடிவதில்லை.
மகிழ்ச்சி எங்கெல்லாம் இருக்கிறது ?
ஒலிக்கின்ற அருவி, உலவுகின்ற காற்று, அழகிய பூக்கள், கவலை சிறிதுமில்லாத குழந்தையின் சிரிப்பு, குடும்ப உறவுகள், நண்பர்களுடன் இருக்கின்ற தருணங்கள். இப்படி எண்ணற்ற இடங்களில் மகிழ்ச்சி பரவிக் கிடக்கிறது. அவற்றைத்தேடி பெற்றுக்கொள்வதே வாழ்க்கையை அரத்தமாக்கும்.
நீங்கள் எப்படி சிந்திக்கிறீர்கள், எப்படி உணர்கிறீர்கள் என்பதை பொறுத்தே உங்களுடைய வெற்றி நிர்ணயிக்கபடுகிறது. உங்களுடைய வழக்கமான சிந்திக்கும் முறைதான் வெற்றி அல்லது தோல்விக்கான விதையை உங்கள் மனதில் விதைக்கின்றது.
எண்ணங்கள் சக்தி வாய்ந்தவை; ஆயுதத்தை விட மதிப்புமிக்கவை. எண்ணத்தில் இருந்தே செயலுக்கான தூண்டுதலை நாம் பெறுகிறோம். நல்ல எண்ணங்கள் நல்ல விளைவுகளையும்; தீய எண்ணங்கள் தீய விளைவுகளையும் தத்தம் செயலின் வழியே கொண்டிருக்கும். எண்ணமே வாழ்க்கையை வடிவமைக்கிறது.
